I need somewhere to leave my car for a week in London. Either somewhere along the northern line from edgware into Kings cross or somewhere near Ealing on the central line. Preferably the first option. Needs to be free and safeish. Its a snotter.
So which areas have uncontrolled parking?

Not sure how easy it will be to leave a car somewhere for a week, maybe try looking for a cheap NCP type car park instead?

You might be safer and more considerate leaving it nearer the outskirts and tubing to where ever you need to be. Gives you more option as well that way due to more space.

There are areas of Golders Green that have no parking restrictions.

Or at least did when I last needed to do exactly that which was about a year ago!

Look Up Meadway and Hampstead Way, they used to be free! Good Luck!

Elderberry Rd/Ascott Ave (or side roads) off Popes Lane in Ealing (https://www.google.co.uk/maps/preview#!q=43+Elderberry+Rd&data=!4m15!2m14!1m13!1s0x48760dee3db1a0c5%3A0x62c265bee064a2e9!3m8!1m3!1d3!2d-0.298403!3d51.503369!3m2!1i1366!2i643!4f75!4m2!3d51.5032453!4d-0.2982931)- can either walk to Ealing Broadway (10-15mins depending how far down you can get) or Acton Town (10mins). I used to park there and bike into central, never had any issues.

I'd park it somewhere like New Malden and train it in. Or more specifically outside my sister's house. hehe

I know it's not free, but for about £40 you could park your car at Westfield off the A40.
I use it all the time, park right next to the security office and you have someone watch over it 24 hours a day. Last time I left my car for a week it cost me £32, which I think is excellent value for total peace of mind.
You can just jump on the tube and get to anywhere in about 20 mins.

Leave it at mine. 10 mins walk from edgware.

No shortage of space and plenty of security.

Yes, but she's married to her MMA-practising husband. wink
