Aston DB9 Photo Locations....
Discussion
Hi All,
I dont know a massive amount about London so coming to you guys for assistance!
Got an Aston Martin DB9 Volante on saturday for shooting (pics, not guns!) and we're thinking about heading up into London for something different to Essex! Canary Wharf is one on the list, although besides a few cheeky spots, is there much cool stuff there? Pretty "clean" tunnels would be cool...
Also considering Leake Street underneath waterloo where you've got the graffiti. Are we likely to have any issue taking the car there?
Any other good spots, ideally Canary Wharf direction (but throw anything you've got out there!), that could be worth going to?
Thanks!

Lots around London Bridge / Bermondsey. Also lots around Wapping, the Isle of Dogs & Docklands in general.
As has been said about Canary Wharf, it is private land so you probably won't get a warm welcome there but, to be honest, you be better off shooting the car with the Wharf as a backdrop.

Perhaps not surprisingly a couple of men with guns came and politely moved us on when we started photographing cars outside Buckingham Palace a few years ago.
There's a carpark in Battersea Park that backs onto the Thames. Can't really remember if the view is anything special, but might be worth a look.
There are also a couple of tunnels that are quiet enough to do a slow pass or stop briefly for pics out of hours. I have one in my mind, but again can't think of the name:

Thanks all, helpful suggestions so far, all worth consideration!
Regarding Canary Wharf, after some research into the legalities etc of shooting there, as a student I am able to blag it aslong as I have student ID on me Anything for education...
Will very much depend on how much time we get in London, day is going to be very much improvised i think! Fingers crossed for sun...
Will post pics when done!

Isn't that photo the tunnels at Tooley St (London Bridge)?
It's in that general area. I think the tunnel has a street name, but can't remember what it is. It was deserted when we were there - admittedly at about 5am.Gassing Station | London | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
