Hello all

I'm not a Londoner but am driving to the savoy for a meal and then leaving again.

What's the parking like (if any??) there?

Cheers

If you mean on street parking rather than valet or car parks, not a lot available real close. Some pay and display on Savoy Place., but usually full. A few minutes away is Surrey St which has more pay and display spaces and if you don't mind a ten minute or so walk, plenty more spaces around Lincolns Inn Field off of the Kingsway.

Thanks. Does the savoy have its own car park?

This from their website said:
The Savoy offers valet parking including in-and-out privileges. Alternative garages are also available in the surrounding area.
No actual mention of own garage.

There's an underground public carpark at Trafalgar Square - just a short walk down the Strand to the Savoy.

Great stuff! Thanks for everyone's help. Can you tell I don't drive around London much?

I regularly park in John Adam Street just down from the Savoy in the evenings - need to be a bit patient as theatre goers park/move off - no charge after 6-30pm - if you are patient and allow half an hour or so to find somewhere it will be free!

Drive to front door and give keys to doorman-he will have your car parked and returned when you are ready-I paid £35.00 for about six hours which considwering price of meal and theatre I thought was reasonable and made day even more pleasant-must say Savoy Grill excellent
