Sofa move help

A friend's dad is getting a load of new furniture for his flat. The old stuff is barely 2 years old and as my current lounge is looking a bit bare they've offered it to me for free

problem is ive got to move it from holborn to westminster. It's not that far... mile or two...

options..

1) go back to oxford and bring a friends pickup up for the day... free hire but hassle and fuel costs

2) hire a van for the day... rough cost???

3) hire a minibus/big taxi to take me the distance.

Any views guys and girls? Anyone with a spare transit in london that fancies earning a bit of beer money?
