I am needing to get my wheels aligned after a lot of new bushes and some new ball joints on my 2001 Jaguar XJR. I live in Barnes in South West London, but as of yet have not been able to find anywhere within a reasonable distance who offer this service. Belgravia Garage in Chelsea will do it, but i felt their charge of £160 was too steep.

Can anyone suggest anywhere they have had a good experience with? I have work done at the Jag Workshop in Ealing but sadly they don't have alignement facilities.

Cheers

Nearest place I know about is Feltham Tyres but they're £123 last time I looked. In Slough there's Thames Tyres on Petersfield Avenue, £50-60 but they're bolshy cowboys ime. I go to APS in Brackley.

I'm in Hammersmith and felt it was worth the trip to these guys in Bucks from a Phil @ CPC recommendation: http://www.blackboots.co.uk/wheels-alignment.php

Cost me around £60 from memory about 4 months ago. These guys add weights to the car, so it sits at the manufacturers ride height before adjusting which is really above and beyond as I understand it. The chap after explained everything he had done in detail which I appreciated too.

Hi, I just called these guys (http://www.blackboots.co.uk/) and was quoted 135 + VAT for BMW - which is quite a lot for 1 hour job. Are they really worth it, any other opinions-suggestions around London area?

The results are worth it, Tony knows his stuff and has that amazing Hunter machine, your drive home will be far more enjoyable than the drive there. He did one of my cars and dialled in some settings I'd been recommended to try for fast road. Results were far beyond my expectation.
