Is anything major on in London weekend 17-19 May?

Need to be in the smoke for the weekend and looking at hotel prices and they all seem nuts for that weekend. I can usually pick up a 5* room for £100 on any particular day of the week throughout the yr, but apart from the London Marriot on West India Quay, not only am I struggling but actually finding it difficult to get decent stuff below £150/night. Even Guoman hotels are trying to charge £350 or so for the 2 nights and you can usually always pick up Tower, Charing Cross or the Cumberland for much cheaper than that.

Is there a major event on?
