Getting to Twickenham

Going to watch the rugby tomorrow, what's the best/fastest way to get there from W1?
- District line to Richmond then shuttle bus?
- Train from Waterloo to Twickenham then walk?
- Drive (I'm entertaining clients so not the preferred option!)

Personally, I'd go for option 2.

I can't stand the Tube and driving would be lunacy.

wait till you get off the train and need to move anywhere.

My recommendation is to turn left as you get out of the station, walk 50-100 yards and go to the pub on the right hand side (i forget the name)

Grab a beer in the beer garden and wait for everyone to ps off.

Then its a nice walk down with out the crowds to get there in time for kick off.
