All,

I am interested in a job that is based in the Paddington area (not far from the station). As part of the role I need to be in the office on a regular basis.

What's the best way? Train/Drive or a split?

I am thinking driving down to Milton Keynes and the train in? Anywhere better?

Cheers.

Train to Euston, couple of stops on the tube to Paddington. Wouldn't bother with the car.

Every day? It's quite a journey. Best thing would be to go from Stockport to Euston on the train then as mentioned jump on the tube.

You're probably looking at up to 3 hrs dependent on how far you are from home to the station. Season ticket will be expensive at around £12k so your best option may just be to stop down here for 4 night. Many many people do the same.

It's only once a week.

Currently, not too bad as I can get a 16-25 yr old rail card which brings down the weekly cost to £55. But just thinking ahead for next year.

Fair enough. Even so, train is the only way. I often do Manchester to central London and even at 10pm it takes ages to get through. I can get tote end of the M1 in 3hrs or so but after that its just insane. It can take me over an hour to get from M1 to Tower Bridge. It drives you nuts. Given the choice it would be train for me. It's stress free and you won't have to worry about parking.
