We're going up to Wembley Stadium for a concert next year, and I'm just considering our options.

It's looking like the best option would be to get the train up there, but ideally I'd like to take the car, just as it's easier.

Can anyone help with a sensible plan?

We'll be going up on the Friday for a concert at 6pm, likely finishing around 10pm. If we could park somewhere sensible, safe and cheap, we could whip it quickly home, but otherwise it'll be a hotel and then we could either go into London or do something around London (perhaps Richmond Park) the next day.

The main priority, if taking the car, is keeping the car safe.

If we take the train, we'd probably get the train back the next day, so again would love some ideas of what to do outside of the central part of London, and a good plan of action.

What do you all think?

I live at 'A' and Wembley Stadium is at 'B', park at mine if you want, it's safe round here, it's just over a mile and takes about 15 minutes on foot, or I'll drop you off.
