Pub recommendations in Finsbury Park?

Think I'd be a tad frightened to enter a pub close to the station. Mind, have not ventured into one close be for some years so might be OK now.
The Good Pub Guide gives the White Lion of Mortimer a 'worth a visit' and is not too far away from the station.

We ended up heading to The Old Dairy (I think ... something about a dairy) which was nice and chilled out with some decent beers on tap. It's definitely a trendy bar rather than a 'beer with twigs in it' alehouse, but I quite liked it.
Also, we found a decent Italian place a bit closer to the station along the same road, La Porchetta. It's not especially fancy inside, but the calzone was huge and very tasty.
