SE London insurance

Hi all,
I have tried searching but it keeps timing out for me.
I live in SE4 and currently insure, very reasonably, a Clio 200 and a VW campervan parked on the street with 10,000 mile per annum on each policy.
I have previously insured an Impreza WRX PPP and a Megane R26 with no issue. I am in the middle of trying to buy and insure a 2000 turbo Impreza wagon for dog duties, will only be driven up to 3000 miles a year (I know it's overkill, please don't suggest alternatives!) and the cheapest quote I've had is £1500, twice what I insured my last Impreza for (that insurer won't honour my no claims now because they are from a camper van)
Does anyone have any suggestions for insurers who won't crucify me for my postcode?? I think that's the main issue as I did a meerkat quote at my folks countryside address in northern Ireland and it was relative peanuts. Would anyone insure it as a 'classic' on a limited mileage policy?? The value of the car is only £2000 and I had hoped for a quote under half of that value!
