used them when I first moved to London about 7yr ago becaus I was in a rush to get a 'normal and reliable' car and they had one that fit the bill.
It was a very sanitary process but worked OK! no negotiation on price, no banter with the salesman, it really was a supermarket...say you want it, pay, bring home. If they have exactly what you want and you've checked it out in person I can't see much of an issue.
I have to say though, it's the least enjoyable big money purchase I ever made, no drama or excitement at all!
