Best time to get in to London for new years eve

Morning everyone, need some help. Me and my gf are going into London for new years eve to watch the fireworks. When wood be the best time to get there for a good place to see the fireworks? Thanks dazz1871

Sat in front of the tv is the best bet.
It will be packed from early in some places from 6 or 7 pm. Be prepared for very little in the way of toilets. You will get pushed and shoved a bit. Try and avoid charing cross road/traf sq, leic sq due to gangs of young footballers/dj's out for wallets phones etc.

head down to by blackfriars. less people. get there for 11 and you'll be fine.
