Driving into Hammersmith on a weekday – busy, where to park?
Discussion
Hi,
We need to get to Hammersmith and back pretty quickly tomorrow afternoon and we’re trying to find the quickest way of doing it. I’d rather drive as it’s a lot cheaper than getting the train from Brockenhurst, Hampshire, but I know traffic is always a nightmare! What is the M3, A316 and A4 like on weekday afternoons? Gridlocked, or normally pretty free flowing? Just trying to get an idea of how long it will take to do the journey. Took us 2 hours to do 9 miles from Surbiton to Gipsy Hill the other day, so we don’t want a reoccurrence of that!!
Also, are there any car parks around Hammersmith we can leave the car at?
Many thanks,
Dan
