Insurance values?
Discussion
Mods - not an advert, an insurance valuation request.
Current PH article makes me realise my Elise might be worth more than its insured for. I realise if it’s written off then I could point to equivalent cars in classifieds (not that there’s many).
It’s obviously outwith the remit of online car buyers, WBAC gives a valuation of 12k for example.
The car is a white 2013 Elise S3 1.6 with black pack, 8k miles, full lotus service history with aftermarket body coloured hardtop and a 2bular exhaust. I’m the second owner. It’s almost as new (as you would expect given the miles, and no evidence of it having been on track).
Any opinions, and is it worth getting an agreed valuation?
EDIT - sorry, posted to USA rather than UK, mea culpa
