Group Lotus CEO Kim Ogaard-Nielsen Attend LOG 25

Monday, June 20, 2005 – St. Louis, Missouri: Lotus Ltd – North America’s Largest Lotus Car Club is pleased to announce Kim Ogaard-Nielsen, CEO of Group Lotus will join club’s 25th annual Lotus Owners Gathering (LOG 25) August 26-29, 2005 in St. Louis, Missouri.
Lotus Ltd. president and Lotus Owners Gathering (LOG 25) chairman, Mark Pfeffer made the announcement Monday. “We are very excited to have Kim join us for the silver anniversary of LOG. Kim and production operations manager, Luke Bennett, from Lotus Cars in The UK will be with us to enjoy the festivities. Lotus Cars USA president John English was kind enough to phone me last week to discuss the details of Kim joining us for LOG 25. We are hoping Kim will share good news about the ongoing expansion of the Lotus model portfolio.”
A Danish national, Mr. Ogaard-Nielsen took over as CEO of Group Lotus in November 2004. Kim’s extensive managerial and international experience includes a variety of industries. His early career was in the transport sector and included assignments in Denmark, Hong Kong, Japan, and Switzerland for A.P.Moller/Maersk and later Norasia Lines. Later he co-founded an IT based consulting and outsourcing business, IBIS Corporation, which primarily focused on business process re-engineering and improvement through the application of web based technology solutions.
Lotus Ltd. – North America’s Largest Lotus Car Club, founded in 1974, serves the Lotus community through both its continental presence and its growing number of local affiliate clubs. Membership includes the club’s monthly newsletter, technical assistance from club members for all Lotus models, and access to discounts with an extensive group of companies including every major driving school in North America.
