US-based Club111 is to hold a fund raising event to benefit children with cancer.

On 3 April 2005, the north-east region of Lotus enthusiasts Club111 will host a photography session at The Eton Center in Newtown, Ct. starting at 11:00am. Photographs will be taken in members' Elises for a donation to benefit The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp.

Donations of wish list items for the camp will also be accepted by Club111 members at the event. At 1pm the club will depart Newtown and travel to Bridgewater Connecticut for a second session at the The Village Store at 27 South Main Street. The second session is scheduled from 2.30pm to 4.30pm. Monetary donation and items for the camp's wish list will be collected at the stops. All proceeds will benefit The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp.

Hole in The Wall Camp

The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp, founded by actor Paul Newman in 1988, is a non-profit residential summer camp, an ingeniously designed and dazzlingly equipped Wild West hide-out in north-eastern Connecticut, where children with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses do not have to sit on the sidelines.

More than 1,000 children between the ages of seven and 15 from across the country and abroad attend each year, free of charge. For a list of Wish List items to bring for donation to the camp, or for more information on The Hole in the Wall Gang Charity, see the Web site (link below).

Club111

Club111 is an extension of EliseTalk.com, representing the largest Elise web community in The United States. Modelled on the success of its sister organisation in the United Kingdom, SELOC, and patterned after the well established Golden Gate Lotus Club, Club111 is the means for the vibrant Elise community to come together in person.

In conjunction with other Lotus clubs across the globe, and with the support of the Elise aftermarket, the club's aim is to strengthen the Lotus community as a whole. At track days and autocross events, concours and back road drives, charitable and social events, Club111 is the place for US-based Elise enthusiasts to gather and share their passion for the greatest sports car of our time.

Club111 is not affiliated with Group Lotus plc or Lotuscars USA.
