*Georgia Tech Autoshow, April 2*
Discussion
The Georgia Tech Autoshow (Sat, April 2, 10am-4pm) is fast approaching. Cars are signing up left and right. The list of exotics is growing, and you're invited!
Those of you who are Tech alumni are asked to register on the website. The address is www.me.gatech.edu/autoshow Proceeds go towards funding Tech's automotive clubs.
Don't forget about the 2001 Ferrari F-1 car that will be there for the wheel changing time trials! Shell Oil will be providing this car, as well as some others on display. Lots of exotics, corporate showcars, and collectibles will be present.
For those of you who can, I am setting up a "meet & cruise-in" to the show.
The autoshow is from 10-4, but we are going to meet in Duluth at 9am at a Starbucks so you guys can grab some coffee, catch up with old friends, and head on over to the show in Atlanta around 9:45am in a caravan of exotic autos!
The Starbucks is located in front of the Regal Cinemas at the intersection of Pleasant Hill and HWY141/Medlock Bridge Rd.
For those of you with ground clearance issues, have no fear. I will be taking a route to campus that is free of speedbumps and large dips in the road.
I'm very excited about seeing you guys there.
And this invite isnt just limited to Lotuses. Bring your Lambos, Masers, Ferraris, Astons, etc! Anything EXOTIC and/or COLLECTIBLE is invited if you are NOT a Tech grad. If you ARE a Tech grad, you can bring anything.
I'm really looking forward to seeing all of you there!
Also, if anyone is able to take another event organizer in their car over to the show, please let me know. I only have room for one other in my car, and there is another event organizer who would like to catch a ride over.
If you do think you can make the show, PLEASE RESPOND BELOW, so I can get a semi-accurate headcount.
Ciao!

Guys, the show starts at 11, not 10. The main page of the site is wrong, and i've been looking at that the whole time. The site will be changed now that i noticed that. I apologize for the screwup.
So if we're going to meet up anywhere, its going to be at 10, not 9. At least you'll get another hour of sleep!
BTW: The chassis designer for the Ford GT is coming down from Detroit with one of his GT's. He's going to be the speaker when it comes time for the awards. He'll also do a brief presentation on his work.Should be interesting.
Thanks again guys!
