Not running right mixture / timing? 2.9 cologne

Hi,

I have the following symptoms
1. hunting on part throttle at low revs kangaroo style
2. sounds very 'throaty' full throttle at low revs
3. pinking a little

what do you recon? too advanced? too lean?

and is there an easy way to tweak up the mixture? just to try it??

Yep. I'm going to give all T&H ground connections a clean seeing as the engines been out. I think it's mixture though

I gave in today having swapped all the plugs, pulled every connector / plug apart, cleaned up the dizzy, tightened up the vac pipes, remade every earth strap etc etc.

I have settled for retarding the ignition 4 degrees at the 'octane' plug. I figure with a load of S-perts around me for the next few days - it'll be an easy fix for one of em?
