TVR S needed for a Classic & Sports Car photo

It's Graeme from Classic & Sports Car magazine here - we're PH's sister publication and urgently looking for a TVR S (ideally a S1 to 3 but a 4 would be ok) for a photo shoot next week on 4 May. I spoke to Simon earlier today, the areas will be the Brecon Beacons. They are very keen to have a TVR presence, there is planned to be a comparison article.

It's for a Classic & Sports Car cover shoot in the Brecon Beacons on 4th May (next Wednesday). I appreciate this is zero notice, but something went wobbly with the last issue.

It's for a 10 car sports car feature. The theme is are established classics worth the extra outlay or are the newer cars better? I need a TVR S to go up against a TR4.

The shoot will probably take a few hours, but for people coming distances then we can earmark an afternoon slot.

I have to be able to drive the car for the feature (so I know what I'm writing about) and it will be fully insured by C&SC's insurance. Petrol costs will be covered (just keep the receipts) and magazines and a CD of pix will be given to all readers who help out.

Just nominated my V8s, not quite what he's looking for but I am free for the shoot.

Unfortunately my cars not exactly concourse, some of the cars on here put mine to shame!

I did speak to Simon early this afternoon and they mooted a V8S but were really looking for a V6 but you never know

Thats what I thought too but it would be best for a TVR presence rather than none at all!

Hopefully they'll find a suitable car, whether mine or somebody else's.

Hi, I thought that would be the case but didn't want to sound negative as the offer is great. Mags are always after articles so maybe worth emailing them with a 'if you ever wnat...' type email.

The one we did for Octane was great but as it was most of our first experience we didn't know what to do or what to expect. To do a second one would be even better as we'd get more out of it.

I hope people aren't put off applying by thinking their car must be perfect, simply contact Simon and see what he says
