roll bar

Hi All. Just moved down to my workshop and seam to have lost the roll bar, anybody got one spare or know what they are off.
Which is better the S1 or the V8 diff mount

I presume you mean the anti roll bar?

If so I've got one BUT they come in three diameters (22, 24 and 26mm from memory), do you have the brackets and bushes so you can identify the diameter? Also I think that the distance between the mounting holes for the brackets on the chassis could be a clue.

Hi Norman,
I think mine is 24mm but will look tomorrow night when I go down to the workshop. I have the mounts in a box at home but with 15 boxes of bits its a bit to go through just to fine the size.

I didn't know there was a 26mm one. Is it similar shape to the others? Do you know what models had it?

My early S3 is a 26mm...

Yep the spare one I have is 26mm, both the 24 and 26 share the same bracket with the difference taken up by the bushes. The bracket for the 22mm one is different and is used, I believe by the V8 and S4.

I can tell you the 22mm bracket does have a ford part number on it.
