New Windscreen?

Picket up a stone chip from an artic onto my otherwise immaculate windscreen. Its about 2 inches from the top above driver's eyeline but its now started to crack about 2 inches above & below. What are my options? If its a new screen can someone point me in the right direction ref supply & fitting please. Im in SE London NW Kent area but will travel to get it done properly. Its small consolation that insurance will cover it I guess. 
That sounds like a new screen.
Service will vary, but I had 2 TVR screens go at the same time, the first (V8S) I used a company formerly known for roadside repairs but I think they sold the windscreen arm off (uncannily similar to the above name).
It took weeks, they failed to turn up, I was lied to by an area manager who told me there was an S screen on a vehicle (the chance of that happening is what??), even so the visit took some days, the fitter said it'll take a while to get one (fair enough). About 10 days later one arrived. It was an exact fit - for a wedge!
2 more weeks go by. chasing up by me, being fobbed off. It was appalling service. They even told me they would need to manufacture one as a one off (that would never happen!). I already knew DG had 1 or 2 in stock and that was one of their suppliers, so another lie from the fitter.
On the other hand, someone here (Gerald I think) gave me a PH contact who runs a business doing the same thing (can't remember his name, phil350td or similar) one of his fitters came straight out to the other car, did it well and no hassle, I would happily use them again.

hi i used paul "glassman" youll find his web site on here great guy and very helpful
only use a independent glass fitter that knows our cars
if you use one of the big boys be very careful how they do the job "the seal is a hand applied job and needs someone who knows what he is doing "
