V8s will not start

Tock the V8s out for a run last night engine cut out ended up on the back of a recovery truck.Been working on it all day no joy.Had the plugs out all sparking ok Checked the leads ok, The fuelpump primes When I turn the key It still wont fire

i know this may sound DAFT but do you still have your Yellow connector
mine used to not start sometimes

Have you checked all your fuses and relays and the immobiliser?

where is the yellow connector.Renewed both relays

take off surround on ignition
and look to the left under neath
you will see it
try to undo ,mine would not burnt out

Just checked the yellow connector seems OK

yes it came apart no problem

When you took the plugs out were they wet or dry?

Wet implies an ignition problem or over-fuelling. Dry implies a fuel injection problem.

There seems to be a lot of this about! My V8S started cutting out in February when idling in traffic until I ended up holding up a slip road onto the A27 and had to be towed away. I changed the battery which made no difference and after sometime in the garage it turned out to be the ignition amplifier which had corroded. Seems to be going ok now though. G.
