Advanced TVR Driving Session
Discussion
Yesterday morning I had and Advanced TVR driving session with one of the RideDrive Instructors .
I was very impressed with the 4hr drive with me driving the instructor in my S1.
Simply I have learnt a lot in a short period of time and will learn a lot more from now on being able to practice what has been shown to me.
At the end of the session I was taking some of the bends smoother at 20mph faster and I am sure I could feel the car appreciating the chance to show how well it could really handle now I was getting some more idea how to push it nearer to the limits and yet keep the car well in balance. At no time was there any tyre squeal or skidding yet the speeds we went round these bends was far quicker than I would have attempted without expert prompting.
It interesting to hear how the instructor reckoned how the Ss were more nimble over the twistier roads than the Chimeras and Cerbies.
I must admit that at the end (there is a coffee break and progress review half way through) I was physically and mentally knackered but I enjoyed every minute and will savour the memory. I cant wait to get back out the and practice the cornering.
A more in tune with his car Bill

Nice to hear that. I've always said that the S series takes a lot of beating when it comes to handling despite people giving them a slagging due to the rear semi-trailing arms.
