I have been looking for a pressure cap for the swirl tank on my S4C and have brought two both of which leak once the system gets hot. Can anybody help me with the part number for this?

Are the ones you bought fitted with the rubber sealing washer. I use unipart GRC 1110, with a rubber sealing washer from any other rad cap, My experience is that without the sealing washer I lose coolant.

Hope that helps........SP

Yes the ones have a rubber washer. After seeing your post I have put a second rubber washer on one of the caps and have stopped the leak to a very slight drip. I think I might try the local TVR dealership as I need it to be right for thwe trip to blackpool (Back Home) in a couple of weeks.

I replaced these annually on my 350i, part no for the pressurised cap is QH (Quinton Hazell) FC53 - 15lbs pressure release. Available at many motorist discount shops, I use PartCo.

One thing I have noticed with the S, compared to the Wedge, is that if you fill the S to within 10-15mm of the neck of the expansion tank it will leak/lose water until it reaches it's own level about 40mm from the top. It then stops leaking.
