I know I know...but I'm only just older than the car (22).

Was advised MDM were cheaper for a chap I met who was 2 years older than me and down to £800. Will investigate in August when it's due. As for now I'm going back to not thinking about it thanks

300 miles garaged?! I'm assuming there should be another zero!

1600 is pretty good actually, I had a Volvo 850 worth £100 when I was 22 which cost £1200 to insure!

I got the S when I was 23 and my insurance was ~£700 with 7500 miles on a driveway with MSM on their kit car policy.

Oh and yes I think you win!!
