New Car worried
Discussion
I am currently thinking about buying a TVR S2 or S3 but I am currently worrying abouting keeping the car well cared for as it should be!
I would be grateful if someone could tell me the service intervals and rougly how much are the services?
Also does any body know a specialist dealer/servicer in Yorkshire?
Many Thanks

6000 mile services
more major one at 12000 & 24000
6000 tends to be = £350 to £600
12000 tends to be = £450 to £750
This prices depend on dealer v's independent and there are a number of threads on peoples impressions of either. The prices above are the ones I know people have paid for the services in question.
Before you buy your S, you must by Steve Heaths book on the S series. As much as we can all offer advice this one book accurately documents the nature of the cars and the care needed with them. Including sdervicing intervals, what to look for when buying etc etc.
A useful reference.

Johno's prices are a bit high.. theres a nice garage in wales that does 6000 intervals at £100
You could always do it yourself if you are technically minded and with an older/cheaper S2 this shouldn't affect the resale value much (lets not do this again chaps ).. in that the amount you save can be directly offset against any perceived loss in value due to only having a home service scedule.. keep all your reciepts though
