9/16" UNF 4 1/4" long bolts

I bought mine from Steve Heath as part of the suspension bolt set. I guess he'd probably supply them on their own.

I doubt you'll find 4 1/4, it's a non-standard length. Look for 4 1/2" and cut them down, I'm pretty sure that's what they did at the factory.

Might be worth a call to Namrick, they stock some odd sizes that aren't listed on their website. Or, if you you have a place that sells agricultural machinery close by you could ask in their parts dept, our local one has all sorts of useful nuts and bolts in UNC/UNF sizes.

Has anyone got an original and could they measure the shank (unthreaded) and the length of the thread please

I think you'd need to make sure it is HT here, 8.8 as a minimum and I'd go for a higher grade if you get the chance.

Being UNF it'll be graded in imperial too, S is a smidge under 8.8 T is a bit over

Why is there a need to find another source when Steve sells them?
Steve has given a lot to TVR and personally gets my support - I bought my bolts from him.

As ever maybe more than a truth... TVR part number 01020 from 1971-1980 cars...a 4 1/2" bolt 9/16 UNF bolt for the trunnion..serious spec. (that over the years I have gathered toooo many to count and in comparison to TVR production numbers of at that time, with 2 a car plus after sales and service!)... that has a split pin hole at the 4 1/4" point.
