Overheated? / Pint owed.....

On the way home in the S tonight I had a bit of trouble and ended up on the hard shoulder of the M61 waiting for the AA. As I was waiting, another S drove past - 'what are the chances, another S at this time of night!' I thought.
To my complete suprise, 10 minutes later the chap pulled up next to me offering his help to get me going again, him having left the motorway, turned around and done a lap of the next junction down, turned round again and coming back up to meet me.
We had a brief chat, but I didn't think to ask your forum name (nice looking S though). Feels good to know that some people will go the extra mile to help out a fellow owner, and I'm sure there are others on here that would do the same.
Anyway, a big thanks to that man and, as stated, I owe you a pint should we cross paths again!
By the way, I think she's overheated, but more on that when I've had a proper look at her..... :-(

Hi pie2K1, Glad to see you got home ok,I,m the guy who stopped tonight. I,m new to this,only registered on here tonight,even though I,ve been reading peoples posts for ages,having been pointed in this direction by the gamekeeper. Look forward to that pint someday. Thanks again for taking the time to stop last night, it was very much appreciated and certainly lifted the spirits. Must meet up and take a look at your Vixen some time (and see your S in the daylight - S2 I'm guessing?). Yes, got home ok and managed to set a few curtains twitching down our street thanks to the AA lorry's flashing lights. They were only about 10mins behind you and thankfully the rain held off.
Paul, I'm up in Preston, just off the M65/M6 junction area. Are you nearby? Good to hear from another owner up our way. I keep meaning to get along to the TVRCC monthly meet but haven't managed to yet (based on last night's happenings it'll be a while before I can bring the S along anyway...)
Let the head scratching/spannering/wallet-emptying begin....!!
