Well today was wet. Then it got wetter. Doing the windy passes was scary, I had the back end step out on me 3 times and i was doing granny driving! We also had a crash. Before it rained this morning the griff was pulling out turning left across the traffic and just clipped a Peugeot 205 and smashed the front driverside lights. Griff isn't too bad though, just needs the indicator fixing.

Anyway here are a few pictures for PH to show the conditions!

Still looks good to me - the last piccy above certainly shows a "confusion" of S's though - they are coming from all directions - I bet the locals wondered what was happening! Brilliant!

A few of us went up to Val D'Isere and braved the ice and snow up the top of the pass for photos in the cloud. WOW, what a brilliant trip, those pictures look bloody brilliant, that is one trip you will all remember forever, wish I was there, hope you all have a safe trip home and/or a great Nurburgring trip.

Sorry for late posting Tom, I had to go out and earn some money today

Today we had a car being worked on at about 7:30 before we left, a puncture (in France on a sunday), and someone run out of fuel. We couldn't even find somewhere open to have lunch today so we thought the chances of finding somewhere to mend a puncture would be impossible. However we managed to find the only deserted supermarket car park in France with a garage/tyre repair shop next to it with the owner sitting outside. He was also kind enough to lend us a step ladder for the photo we took. Had to contend with the nutty French drivers today as well. Including being 3 abreast as the motorway changed to two lanes because the French guy was desperate to continue overtaking at 5mph. Sorry the last picture is a little Picasso, not entirely sure what happened there!

I came in to ask if anybody was preparing an article for Sprint, but I see you have it under control.

I am writing another article for next month. If you get yours to me in the next few days, I'll hold mine - but it does have to be within 3 or 4 days - otherwise the next copy deadline is the end of October.

Nice set of pics folks - Glad to see the 'S' out to play - Nice to see my old car again! Come on Wiz, only a few from the distance, of my 'old girl.' Surely you have some pics to share, including some of the old car as well!!! I trust no major hic - cups and all went well with the motor. Looked liked a fab trip including all weathers!. BTW Have you done any further mods to the car this year? It looks like the car is in 'top' form!

Was great fun apart from the frustrating Paris Périphérique overheating and the pre-Ring exhaust failure. But there is always next year.
