Ferry from Dover to Calais

Thurs 23/9
Calais to Arbois via the Reims GP pit lane

Fri 24/9
Arbois to Bourg Saint Maurice

Sat 25/9
Bourg Saint Maurice to Chamonix via the Petit and Grand St Bernard passes, meeting up with Carlo on the way

Sun 26/9
Chamonix to Troyes

Mon 27/9
Most of the group head for Calais and home, apart from...

...who are heading to the Nurburgring for the evening track session, where we'll meet up with sleeptalker and hvdweerden who will be joining us from England and Holland respectively.

Just got mine back from the workshop, ouch! New clutch etc, battery, suspension mods, service - 1723 euros. Promise me it's going to be a good holiday guys. First thing tomorrow morning I'm off for a shakedown blast down the Autobahn just in case, before I leave. Look forward to seeing you there. Have still not convinced my wife to come. I have one more night to test my powers of persuasion, which are reputedly pretty poor when it comes to women

Fab day 2 - Reims GP pits en route & then a 'spirited' blast through the French countryside.

All made it to the evening stop over without any incident.

So, we made thru rain and shine and learnt how many ways you can put beam deflectors on TVRs. Long day but good....10 or more Tiv's blasting thru France, locals admiring the loud Brits. How many sat navs can 2 people use to "not" find a hotel in Calais.....must go now - "biere local siv vous plait"

Now in Alps in the RAIN RAIN RAIN.
Got a PC in the hotel bar so we are all looking at PH while drinking ....not all bad....
Also only had 2 crashes so far ...same car if you ignore the falling rocks in the road.
