Sad,Sad,Sad, news mate!

But, and there is always a but, what are you going to do with all that money? Griff, Chimp, Cerb! your not saying unless i missed it in days gone by.

If your not getting another TVR lets have the truth why you got rid of it. Perhaps we can advise you where to spend the dosh.

Just dying to see the reply!

Ann Robinson (Points of veiw voice) "Why, oh why, oh why?..."

Mike, in Jan you were over the moon with buying it, then you had your garage rebuild problem, then the car DID fit up the drive...

What happened?

It looked such a nice car in your profile.

Please tell us you're to buy another beasty?!

Cheers,

Dave.

well, its like this, all my life i've had a hankering for a 3 things. they are, a ducati.... done! a tvr....done!
and a ......maserati and i'm doing.
yeh i know, italian shite, blah, blah, blah but i've just gotta have it. and you all know only too well that feeling. when you gotta have it you gotta have it. I want it that much i'm even selling my racebike.
Thats a lot of gotta.
so the spec. its a 1992 J Karif coupe 5,041 miles on the clock from new. 285 bhp 0-60 4.8 seconds 155mph top end. With so much leather walnut and alcantara its nicer to sit in than my living room.
So go on let me have it all your comments, I can take it.... go on.

Well it sounds nice Mike, probably quite literally as well! at least it's exclusive, 1 maser to ever 100 donkey?
All time fav of mine has been the 250F maser GP car, saw and heard it a couple of years ago at Goodwood, absolutely wonderful.
If yours (to be soon?) sounds any thing like that then I'd pay good money to put one in the garage next to the TVR (assuming the beauty of the partnership does mind her polo getting cold and wet).
Good luck Mike, I hope you enjoy and keep posting, remember your roots!

Harry

PS maybe when you tire of it, a nice Griff500 has your name on it

Always welcome !!! I had always fancied a bi-turbo and in fact had a go with a black one the other day.

Good luck with the new purchase Mike !

My S3 has gone as well , but I'm having to replace it with a slightly more practical alternative (still not bought yet !).

I know what you mean about the "got to have one" feeling - unfortunately that feeling for me is currently for a Ferrari - not very practical at all !

Cheers

amazing this, check out the maserati thread i've started. All the guys there just are doom and gloom must be a money thing, Most of the comments here are along the lines of, go for it, you want it have it, etc etc.
I think my roots will allways stay in this thread

I am actually a big Maserati fan, I was seriously looking at a Ghibli ('95) but then I saw a Quartoporte and couldn't make up my mind, anyway the missus told me I had too many cars so it's on the backburner for now.Good luck with it

Cheers
