Air Filter Part Question

Afternoon chaps, anyone know where I can get a replacement for one of these:



Mine's bonded solid - two soakings with 3-in-1's not loosened.

Any pointers appreciated,

I didnt poke a hole in my lovely new filter to fit that... I removed the hose altogether and fitted a breather filter direct on the filler cap...

I still have that bit somewhere if you want it and I can find it I'll either post it off to you or hand it to you at SCH ??

Cheers, that'd be great. Unless it's easier to do what you did. I've just bought a new Pipercross replacement from TVR Parts so want to use that - can I combine?

I cant attach a pic (work network stops me) but there will be plenty of pics out there with the breather filter instead of the rubber tube from the breather cap all the way to the lovely new filter that you will have to poke a hole in to fit the manky fitting to spray oily warm air all over the sensors in your AFM's just to save a few whales ????

seriously I would consider fitting the small breather filter to the oil filler cap... loads on here have done the same.

I'll find the fitting for you though if I can

Thanks, looks like a much cleaner way to do it. Next question, sorry, where can I get the small filter from to attach to the oil filler cap?

just search on ebay for a K&N breather

measure the diameter of the breather stub pipe to ensure you get the right one...

I had a look for the fitting last night and its not where I hoped it would be so the hunt is on but I'm less confident that I still have it now... I'll keep looking and will post it if/when I find it

Whereabouts in Essex are you? I've got a spare you can have if you are close and want to collect but I reckon its better to go the breather filter route. Got one from Autoperformanceonline though ebay, it arrived in a couple of days.
