Motorcraft Clutch part No's

Some little time ago the follwing code numbers were suggested on a Ph thread for the S clutch which is 9.5" dia and 23 spline:
disc 89GB7550AA and plate 89BG7563AA
My box has been out a couple of times recently (its a long story), anyway numbers on my bits were:
disc 87GB7550AB and plate 87GB7563AA
Nowt wrong with my clutch but found a new/old stock disc on Ebay for 15 quid so thought wouldn't be bad idea to change while box was out.

Now I'm not saying first numbers are wrong (all very similar) but looks like "various" numbers have been used or will fit
?
And yes, contrary to my rant a year or so ago, gearbox will come out ! n/s rocker cover off, dizzy out and disconnect a few hoses. Also found the recently mentioned "tip" to grind off some of the extension housing webs very helpful when putting back in,so thanks who ever that was :thumbsup:
