Hi Folks

I am having a new Gearstick gaitor made up by a specialist Trim place (specialise in Astin Martin's apparently)and they've estimated £30-£40 which seems reasonable ?

Ive gone for Vinyl over Leather as its more in keeping with the sweeping black vinyl dash.

Does this sound ok value ? What to TVR charge for one of these ?

Cheers

I think you can get them from somewhere like demon tweeks for about £20 and of reasonable quality.

My vinyl one (also made by John Taylor) has recently split and is showing signs of wear - I was going to get a leather one made as this should hold out better - for £40 I would expect gold plating!!

Got David Gerald to make mine. Send them a bit of the material for reference and for £20.00 you'll get a new one in pvc. (Since then, my girlfriends aunt has made a superb one for me as a spare using the old one as a template. She even made a custom sunglasses case in the same material. Could that be the ultimate accessories, or am I just sad??)
