Someone broke into my garage.

Went to put my car away last night to find the garage had been broken into (its about 5 minutes from where I live), I had left the mini in there unlocked but they hadn’t touched it or the tools down the side of the garage, so it looks like they were after the TVR, I don’t like leaving it outside but at least I can here the alarm. Well looks like I may have to see about changing garages.

Bad luck, there are some Tw@ts about arent there...
..what would they have done with it though, afterall if it was joyriders they'd have had the mini out anyway and/or nicked some tools and the like.

Therefore was it a steal to order job in which case isn't it a bit much of a specialist car/rarity/easily identifiable to be half hinched ?? And withoutout ANY offence intended (as I've got one too) wouldn't they be after something a bit more pricey..??

It does seem strange, do you think they might have been disturbed - seems odd they didn't nick any tools - are you sure there is nothing missing?

Having spent the last 3 years begging and borrowing peoples garages and never having the right tools in the right place at the right time I am delighted at last to be having one built shortly (I had to move house to get the space).

I assume you will be fortifying your garage - I suggest 240v across the door, have you room for a moat with drawbridge etc.??

I think they were probably idiots who think its worth a lot because of the badge. I have noticed a small green x painted on the corner of the door, now we often get graffiti but normally every garage gets done, seems strange no one else’s got done, the garage is in a block that I rent from the council. I have one at home but its small so I don’t think the S will fit.
