Recolouring the S

Has anyone seen or considered an S in a non-standard colour ? Personally I think it really suits Mica blue or Green. Would something a bit more radical like Reflex Charcoal suit it's shape ? Looks incredible on a T350.

I had a bit of a mishap (don't ask) and will need a respray. I was just going to get the Mica blue oversprayed but as always these things always escalate into 'what if...'

I need to stop watching American Hotrod on Quest - I'm being led astray.

On the other hand I've got pictures of a Griff in Reflex that looks fantastic - picture upload doesn't seem to be working for me at the moment.

Think it is £500/litre which probably puts the kybosh on it but there may be cheaper alternatives

If you think you may sell it some time soon, you may have more luck sticking to an original colour. If not, I would say what ever floats your boat. Its you motor to enjoy so go for it.

My S3 was resprayed last year, by the previous owner, in Aquamarine pearl, aka Goodwood green. He was inspired by the Peter Wheeler racer photo that you see in Sprint which has a more defined green/ blue. It is a later MG colour which has a blue flip to it in the right light. When it is a dull day it just looks a darkish green but when the sun shines it really comes to life. I think that it suits the car shape very well. My S3 was brg from new so this colour adds a little bit of extra life without going too 'custom car'or log book change.

If you wanted to see the car I am near Warwick. I was hoping to get to SCH2010 but it looks like family health problems will rule this out.

That does look good. Unfortunately I don't get up your way very often but thanks for the offer. Sorry to hear about the health problems - hope they improve. If you do get to SCH I'll certainly have a good look.

Now I have seen that vision in pink, I think you should go for it.
Just think of all the matching accessories you could have? People would definitely give you a second look but perhaps not for the right reasons.
