V6 oil filter

I know a few on here with the V6 engine have had trouble finding oil filters, well, try these. The first two are halfrauds, HOF267 or HOF224, they both fit the limited gap on the S. Also try this, it fits nicely too PH2854, made by FRAM of Llantrisant, Mid Glamorgan CF7 8YU. Maybe this will help someone

There are several suitable filters shown on the S parts list - go to
www.tvrsseries.com and then to the "External links" at the LHS of the page and select "S parts list". If you have other alternative parts to add there is a contact me button or something similar somewhere that enables you to advise of additional parts - very useful service for S owners and recommended reading.

I walked into a motor factors with the list of filters off the parts list and asked if they had any of them. Ended up with a Coopers Z501 for £5 which fit well.

I say fit well, it was still a mission fitting the filter which is half full of oil and covered in the stuff as well!
