Well I decided to make a new bonnet prop today as mine was lost a while back and I have access to quite a bit of stainless steel at work .So off I went and got some 8mm stainless rod from the steel rack and set about about it, a while later it was all finished with the correct bends and nicely polished, thing is someone (you know the ones who have to nose and have a detailed look!) asked me what it was made from and I told him stainless, but he said it wasn't as it was too light so I thought I had used tube instead of rod, thing is though it turned out to be 8mm Titanium rod! oops

Over the top yes, but it does look nice

Cheers

P.S that was probably the only Titanium in the whole company, how will I sleep tonight?

You could always borrow the remainder of it and attach it to the bottom of the exhaust for a skid plate as well if you are hell bent on using up your companies stocks! There's probably a few S owners would even pay you to make them one too!

Well, Well LeeBee, what have you been doing!

I'll have one, How much!

Any luck with me down pipes, or if they are not making any more where can i get them.

Got the head all back on now as you might have seen from various postings. Still dont know why there are 2 air flow meters and 2 air temp sensors for one plen chamber if its all open in side! well thats another story.

I think you said you had the manifold bolts, but if there's a problem let me know.
Did you go to the last S meet then!

All the best

gadgit.
