Good to meet you all yesterday.
I drove past the pub several times before finding it, but I guess it was a nice day for a drive, even if it was up and down the same bit of road. Ground hog day springs to mind.

Thanks for the info Andy. It it will come in useful. My plans changed when I got home so I found myself with a spare hour. To this end, I got the old motor up on stands, exhaust, starter and dissy cap off. Plan to get the box out next weekend, weather permitting.
The good news is, the chassis looks in fine shape.
The bad news is my list of things to do just got bigger, finding front pads, lower steering column bearing and what I hope is just a cam cover leak. If not then it is the head but I will start with the cam covers and go from there.
Looks like it may well be a busy Easter!!!

I enjoyed yesterday as well - we were fairly lucky with the weather. Must have another meet up some time. I saw two Chimaeras on the way home driving with their roofs on.....

Stew, I hope you get these things sorted although it sounds like general service items rather than anything really important. Make sure you have your mobile to hand when you drop the gearbox - if you get stuck under there I'm at the other end of the A46.
