A day out at Duxford!

Just looking through the various TVR sights and came across the TVRCC event calender. Yes,Yes,Yes, for those of you who have not visited the Duxford air museum and fancy a day out on August 10th the TVRCC are having there MANIA event just down the road from me!

I went last year and ended up buying me S!

Anyone else in the TVRCC (is it worth joining?)

I joined for the cheap insurance for my S2 thats all.. They do a magazine once a month which whilst a bit thin on the ground on articles, has got some nice photo's, trade ads, and a "for sale" section.. at £35 its worth the insurance reduction alone (unless someone knows a cheaper insurance package (mines £240))

In the main you get what you put in, there are a number of events both national, local and international you can attend .

Out of a club of about 5,500 there are probably less then 500 who attend national events regular, most people joint for the resons Matt did.

The club would be so much better if the other 5,000 members took more of an interest.

OK so I'm one of the 5000.. but its not due to a lack of interest, its due to a lack of time and location.. I'm in the middle of Herefordshire and haven't noticed anything much going on around here. (maybe I've missed something).
