just thought I'd show my update

replaced the drums with cossy discs (and Mintex 1144 pads)

new brake lines in Cunifer 10 and Goodridge hoses.

Looking good, did you add those flat plates on top of the chassis or were they already there?

By the way I think the solid rear discs are standard sierra (later models) with ABS, I guess they may be the same as cosworth sierra but I thought cossie rears were vented but don't know for sure.

Nearly there with my front end rebuild too (will post pictures later)

It's now got 4 wheels on the ground for the first time this year. No longer a wheel barrow!
I can now push it out of the garage to get some urgent work done on the daily drive.

by the way the diff is a newly refurbished 4.27 with a proper LSD (turns both shafts the same way whichever flange is moved) so acceleration should not be a problem and should still give a top speed of over 130 and be more easily obtainable as I will be running 17s (needed to fit over the front brakes)
