door kit

my door has droped again
when fully open no movement , when nearly closed bit of play
can you get a service kit or what have others done if this has happened

looked at FAQ HOW DO YOU see the nuts to slacken off

I've just replaced the hinge bushes on mine - tricky but with two people not that bad.

I spoke to Adrian Venn before attempting the job who was very helpful in talking me through it.

Would suggest talking to Adrian or PM me your phone number and I'll call you and talk you through what I did.

Did my passenger door over the winter, got the bushes from TVR Car parts and fitted myself. No problems apart from time to get the alignment right. Would be easier with 2 people but I managed on my own.

Forgot to ask, I replaced all the guides for the window mechanism at the same time, anyone know what is best to lubricate the rubber guides?

I used spray-on silicone lubricant on my window runners and rubber parts and they are much better now.
