What is is? (No 2)

Although new to the world of TVR ownership, and PH reading, I see there's a lot of knowledge out there, which hopefully I can benefit from. So here goes...

I have an S3. On the steering column, next to the hazard warning light switch, there is a small LED. Any ideas what it is for?

I'd guess its for the Alarm/imobiliser if fitted..?

Ah, thanks. Investigations will follow this weekend.

Could also be a override led for the cooloing fans,thats if you have an extra switch somewhere.
On my S3 i put the swicth next to the boot button under the dash and led on the steering coloumn surround.Or could be as in previous postings the alarm.(is this my old car/what colour is it???)
