Please can anyone tell me why my fan (rad) relay keeps going
they don't last long only a month or so the connections are good
on fuse board any ideas please and i need to raise the bonnet up a bit
at the front of the car is there a way of doing this it is tight
on the wing and it would be good to lift it up a bit

Maybe the motor is tired and drawing too much current so it burns out the relay.

When you say the relays are going, you need to determine what is going, is it the contacts within the relay or is it the coil that operates the contacts?
If its the contacts that are going then it is probably a fault within the fan, such as a tight/ dirty bearings causing too much current to be drawn. If its the coil that operates the contacts it could be that the coil is operating constantly ie switching the contacts in then off non stop, this would cause the coil to overheat and may be down to a faulty otter switch. If you still have the old one pull it apart and check out the contacts.
