repacement key for S3

Good evening folks,

Can anyone tell me if you can buy TVR key blanks to have them cut or do you just use the ford blank (I am a bit of a nerd when it comes to attention to detail)

I am officially the owner of an S3 project vehicle which I am hoping to have road legal for the 1st of April.

I had a spare key cut for my S3 at the local cobblers, using an existing key as a pattern. It cost about six quid and worked fine. If you haven't got a key already, I don't know what you can do.

if you have no keys take the barrel or the door locks to a lock smith they should be able to make you one

I'm sorry, I didn't know The Originals had TVR embossed on them - mine never have, but perhaps they were copies. You need to ask an established dealer I think.

I've never seen one either. No Ford logo, yes. With a TVR logo, no.

Adam, I know for fact both my keys are original and both of them are logo free, just black plastic. (1991 S3C)

My local ford dealer couldn't even get me a ford blank.. too old.. does anyone know of a supply.?

Well, Adam has found a new and novel way to advance his key quest

If you don't like the look of keys, why not simply break them off in the ignition!!

The colour is really nice in the flesh, she sounds fine, chassis looks mainly OK (small amount on the angle plate at the front out rigger) from what can be seen. You've done well Adam
