I presume that the engine was driving an auto box? If so then I presume that you are talking about the need to replace the flexible drive plate with a real manual gearbox flywheel and clutch?

What was the power output of these things then. Is it significantly more than the 2.8 or is it just a higher torque lazy engine like the Americans love?

I guess that you'd need the ECU as well as the fueling from ours probably wouldn't do much for it.

But really with 150,000 miles on it it's probably a bit tired isn't it?

Mike, isn't one 4.0 litre TVR enough for you now or do you just want all of your collection to have 4 litres

Yes, I think the flywheel bolt patterns are different and there are several crankshafts although still one per engine Can't be hard to sort the flywheel issue out though.
