Seat recline mechanism covers

I might have found a source of new replacement covers. I will be getting some to check out in the next few days.

I seem to remember a number of requests/queries about these in the past. If they are correct, and subject to cost, is there any interest?

I maybe a little slow with this thread, has it been discussed before? But, the Chim mechanism covers are the same, well not quite, think TVR modified them for the chim. They drilled the plastic locating plug out - but they still fit.

Original on the right new on the left, dimensions identical but the new ones dont have the locating peg close to the pointed end, I think easily replaced witha small bolt.

I'm not sure but I think originally there was a plastic locating plug in the centre, if so both have been replaced by a hole on mine and a screw fitted that goes into the centre of the big spring in the mechanism. So the new ones will fit.

I will confirm costs next day or so but should be no more than £12.50 (plus a bit of postage) per cover

Thanks for the info. I would buy an offside (driver's side) cover as well as mine has been missing since I have had the car.
