Come hell or .......

So there we have it.......after all the troubles I get the car back and enjoy some top down motoring today and then spend 4 hrs polishing and preening the thing ready for Sunday and it promptly breaks down as I go out for the evening.

Problem is .... once up to temp the engine cuts out. Initially evident as a misfir and then total cutout. Then restarts after a little while for the rescue man and then once again up too temp and cuts out again.

It broke down yesterday by blowing the ignition system fuse. Replaced that and was under way again.

Tonight it is evidient there is no power getting to the ignition module, but there is power getting to the fuse this time.

I reckon its one of those cruddy shorts somewhere only evident when up to temp...

Any suggestions welcomed although car is on its way to Tower View !!!

What a bugger!

Not experienced anything such as you've explained, so don't know what to suggest

I'm not sure whether I'll be there (second time in a row) as I'm thick with a cold and my S has a problem with the starter motor and clutch....

I'm not sure if I'm able to make it, but if you see a bright red MGB GT - it'll be me.
