Braided brake lines - 5 piece - how?

I'm trying to understand how the 5 piece braided brake line sets work on the S. They're advertised be several companies and consist of 4 lines at the front and 1 at the rear. How does that work then? If the S was a live axle then a single flexy from the chassis to the axle makes sense but it isn't. I just can't see how you can have 2 independently moving arms and only 1 flexy. Anyone know? I can't believe that all those kits don't really work.

Just to add that mine is a 6 piece setup so it is out of curiosity really.

I'm with you. Having fitted new braided lines to my S a few years ago, you definitely need one to each trailing arm, because as you say, they move independently of each other and of the chassis.

I have the 4-line setup on the front but I know others who only have 2 long ones.

Think its possibly a catalogue error. Could be for the 3000S which did, i believe, have a solid rear axle ?

I bought one of those and then (obviously) had to contact the seller. They are for a solid rear axle.

I have agreed with him to send them back and get a set for the S - I need to give him the dimensions and end fixings (male/female and Imp/metric).
If some one is looking for a set give me a mail with your dimensions and I'll discuss costs and get the correct replacement set to you as I have since fitted a full set of motorsport make em yourself Goodridge hoses
